Cos put employee health & wellness on the priority list — The Economic Times.
Thankfully, not just health but also wellness. Prioritizing Employee Health & Wellness is the Key to Sustainable Success. Kudos to the few companies that are placing employee wellness on their priority list — though much more needs to be done.
The performance of any organization is directly linked to the well-being of its employees. Leaders must recognize that their legacy will be shaped not only by financial metrics but also by the health and happiness of their teams.
Investing in employee wellness is not just an act of goodwill — it’s a strategic necessity. It helps attract top talent, fosters loyalty, and empowers employees to work toward achieving ambitious organizational goals.
As leaders, ask yourself:
• While you push for performance, are you also nurturing the potential of your employees? (we are still stuck in performance parameters even though we know the importance of sharpening the proverbial saw!)
• Are you committed to maximizing their personal and professional growth, as defined by the ICF coaching framework? (Almost all my training during my 21 years at the corporation was to maximize my professional growth!)
• Do you see yourself as a coach, mentor, and healer for your team? (Old-style bossing is narcissistic!)
• Are your wellness initiatives truly impactful, addressing employees’ needs holistically?
Leaders must go beyond superficial initiatives — wellness is not a checkbox or corporate jargon. It’s a long-term investment in human potential.
Consider how many brands retreat from commitments to DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) due to perceived pressures. Let’s not allow wellness to suffer the same fate.
At Regal Unlimited, we believe leadership development must be comprehensive and transformative. That’s why we focus on:
1. Coaching — Offering one-on-one and team coaching for leaders and organizations.
2. Coaching Education — Training leaders through programs like #LeaderAsCoach to achieve ICF credentials and Coaching Unlimited, a platform for practising coaches.
3. Retreats — Creating immersive experiences for coaches, professionals, and leaders to recharge and grow.
4. Healing — Fostering personal transformation through deeper inner work.
Invest in your people. Their wellness fuels your organization’s success and shapes your leadership legacy.
