With five IPL titles out of nine seasons, Rohit has already proved his captaincy. WIth T20 series we now have the confirmation ‘the team is in good hands’. With Rahul Dravid to #coach, it strengthens our position. T20 needs a fresh approach too, maybe a younger team. A new captain and coach may just bring that fresh thinking and action.

  • “And if that goes well, Sharma could also lead India in the ODI World Cup at home in 2023, depending on his form and fitness.”

Should Virat Kohli step down from ODI captaincy?

  • What if Rahane leads well again in the first test (#IncVsNZ), and also bats well. If his position in the team is assured, should Virat step down from Test captaincy?

Virat is the best player. Is he the best captain? #captaincy #leadership are beyond. Can Virat become a better captain under the new support team, the coach included?

Captaincy and leadership are two different things. Even some of the great cricket captains were not great leaders.
