- Why do we coach?
- Why do we get coached?
One of the primary objectives of every coaching or mentoring engagement is to leave the client feeling more empowered. This journey begins by helping the client become more resourceful in every single session.
However, this doesn’t always happen. Sometimes, the client is unaware of their untapped potential, and other times, they are not yet ready to embrace it.
The (monkey) mind, as we know it, often clings to its familiar patterns of drama and trauma, no matter how subtle they may seem.
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒌𝒆𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕’𝒔 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌, 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔. 😊
Every client steps into a session with a goal — seeking to move from Point A to Point B. True mastery in coaching is achieved when the client transcends that goal and moves beyond it. At Regal Unlimited, we call this phenomenon Manifest Magic (MM).
While it may feel like magic, the client manifests it, guided by the power of the coaching/mentoring process.
The ultimate aim of any engagement is to enable the client to stand independently. Fostering dependence goes against the very ethics, values, and purpose of coaching — it is bad karma.
Think of the last scene in Dear Zindagi (with Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt) — a moment of liberation, empowerment, and new beginnings.
With unconditional spiritual love to all my clients — both mentee-coaches and coaching clients,
Let’s Manifest Magic. Embrace Empowerment. Always.
