Nature, the best teacher

Birds are meant to soar in the skies, not be confined in cages.

Animals thrive in the wild, not behind bars in zoos.

Cattle and poultry belong in open fields, not in the cramped, inhumane spaces of corporate dairy and poultry farms.

Soil is a gift of the Earth, not meant to be trapped in plastic pots.

Plants flourish in the embrace of the soil, not in decorative flower pots.

We take soil and half-fill a plastic or cement pot — denying it the breathability of an earthen one. In the scorching heat, we often fail to water it adequately.

And yet, what does Nature do?

It endures. It adapts. It finds a way to bloom!
